Ositech Communication, Inc. (“Ositech”)
and its employees respect your privacy. We have created this
policy to explain what information we may collect; how we may use
this information and the safeguards we have put in place to
protect this information from misuse and abuse.
Where is the information
collected?
Ositech owns, operates and/or maintains one
or more websites, some of which may be physically outside of
Ositech premises or hosted by third parties. This privacy policy
applies to all these websites. In case of websites hosted by third
parties, we have insured that the third parties comply with the
guidelines set forth in this policy either through a written
agreement or through their own published privacy policies that are
consistent with Ositech’s privacy policy.
We
may also collect information about you via email/mail, fax and
telephone when you submit an order or Warranty registration form,
request Technical Support, submit comments or provide unsolicited
documents. The
consent, disclosure and use of these documents are included in the
scope of this privacy policy.
What information do we
collect?
Some information is automatically collected
when you visit our site. This
information includes the domain and host from which you access the
internet, the internet protocol (IP) address of your computer, the
type of browse software you are using, the time you access our
site, the address of the site from which you linked to our site
and other such information as is typically collected by other
websites.
We also collect information about you when
you place an order, sign up for our newsletter or mailing list,
submit a Warranty Registration form, submit comments, respond to a
survey, enter a contest, register to receive specific product
information such as white papers or online product demonstration,
contact our technical support or customer service personnel via
phone or email, submit a resume and other specific instances.
This information may include name, email address, mailing
address, telephone number, company name and address and job title.
When
you visit our websites we may collect non-identifiable information
to help us provide better customer service. We may track the
domains from which people visit, and we may also measure visitor
activity on our sites. This information does not identify you
personally. Ositech or another company contracted by Ositech may
use this data to analyze trends and statistics to improve our
customer service.
Our
websites utilize various technologies to collect the information
we have discussed in the earlier paragraph. One such technique
uses “cookies”. A cookie is a piece of data that a Web site
can send to your browser, which may then be stored on your
computer as an anonymous tag that identifies your computer but not
you. The purpose of the cookie is to better serve you when you
return to the Web site. The cookie stored on your computer’s
hard drive cannot identify you personally or send any information
you may have on your personal computer. You can set your browser
to notify you before you receive a cookie, giving you the chance
to decide whether to accept it. You can also set your browser to
turn off cookies. If you do so, however, some Web sites may not

Some of our web
pages may contain electronic images known as Web beacons, which is
a single-pixel gifs that allows us to count users who have visited
those pages. We may include web beacons in promotional e-mail
messages or Newsletters
in order to count how many messages have been opened and acted
upon. Web beacons are not used to access your personal
information; they are simply used to compile aggregated statistics
about our Web site usage.
Web beacons
collect only a limited set of information including a cookie
number, time and date of a page view, and a description of the
page on which the Web beacon resides. These Web beacons usually
work in conjunction with cookies. If you don't want your cookie
information to be associated with your visits to these pages, you
can set your browser to turn off cookies.
Use of your Information
We use your information to facilitate the
services you request. We
use information in the file we maintain about you, and other
information we obtain from your current and past activities on
this site, to resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems.
We may use the information we collect to
improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to analyze site
usage, improve our content and product offerings, and customize
our site’s layout and services.
These uses improve our site and better tailor it to meet

Sharing Collected
Information
Ositech
will not rent, trade or sell your personal or company information
to a third party. You
may from time to time, receive information from us about special
or new products. If
you do not wish to receive this information you may inform us so
that we can remove you from the mailing list.
Security of Collected
Information
We maintain commercially reasonable physical,
electronic and administrative safeguards to protect your personal
information from unauthorized or inappropriate access.
We restrict access to information about you to those
Ositech employees who need to know the information to respond to
your inquiry or request. All
Ositech employees have signed a confidentiality agreement that
mandates adherence to this privacy policy. Ositech employees who
misuse personal information are subject to disciplinary action.
Credit Card Security
Ositech utilizes strict safeguards during the processing,
retention and disposal of credit card information.
Your online credit card transactions are processed
using a secure transaction server that utilizes Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) protocol to safeguard your information, including your
credit card number. We believe SSL to be a very safe encryption
method and widely employed for secure online transactions.

Ositech’s website may contain links to
other sites such as Ositech Distributors and Resellers.
While we try to link on sites that share our high standards
and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content,
security, or practices employed by other sites.
Changes to this Policy
We encourage you to check this privacy policy
periodically to inform yourself of any changes.
We reserve the right to change or supplement this privacy
policy as we add new services and/or to improve our current
services. Previous revisions of our privacy policy can be obtained
by submitting a request in writing to the Ositech Privacy Officer.
You can be assured that any future changes to this privacy
policy will not lower our commitment to your privacy that we are
making in this policy.
