For those who want to have wireless data communications in their cars, there’s Ositech’s CellFlex PC Card. While dual-mode cellular phones let wireless voice service users roam from analog to digital coverage areas, CellFlex lets wireless data users do the same with data. CellFlex looks for the best connection, and chooses digital over analog when available. CellFlex products can be used with any device with a PC Card slot.

Those who want to connect a PDA or laptop to a dual-mode cellular phone and connect to the Internet can use either of two Ositech CellFlex products, the King of Clubs ($149) or King of Hearts ($199) PC cards, sold in wireless Internet kits containing the card, a CellFlex cable, an installation CD, and a manual. Because CellFlex products use the cellular transceiver in the phone, all calls (voice and data) are billed through the cellular-service provider.
