GUELPH, Ont. — Ositech Communications Inc. has introduced
its latest multi-function wireless data product.
The USB Cellular Data Cable with Charger for
cell phones is an all-in-one connection solution for use at home,
office and on the road.
The cable connects notebooks to the cellular
phones, allowing online connections from anywhere. The integrated charging capability
eliminates the need to carry a separate cell
phone charger. This method of charging the cellular phone battery
takes advantage of the notebook's power supply, while leaving the
phone fully operational during charging. Software to control,
monitor and customize the cell phone's charging environment is
also included. This provides the flexibility and freedom to stay
connected for longer periods of time without being afraid of
running out of cell phone battery power.
The cable is compatible with most popular PIM
and phone sync software packages, allowing mobile users to edit
and manage their contacts, address book, calendar, ring tones and
logos remotely.
The product is compatible with popular Nokia,
Motorola, Samsung, Kyocera and Ericsson cell phones, and sells for
US$79.
