Rank (Based On Canadian Subscriber Base): #1 (According to The Canadian Wireless Telecommunication Association).
National Geographic Coverage: Analog Data coverage available in most areas of Canada. Digital Data coverage in most urban centers in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia (See Data Coverage here).
Analog CS Network: AMPS, in place since birth of network.
Digital CS Network: CDMA (voice) with fairly widespread Data coverage.
Digital PS Network: 3G 1X Network Test Launched February 12, 2002, with further rollout scheduled throughout the year.
Digital Data Support: Widespread Digital Data availability for 2G phones, limited 3G availability increasing as network rollout occurs throughout the year.
