Ositech Communications Inc. announces the newest addition to their line of Trumpcard multifunction PC Cards, the 4 of Diamonds Ethernet 10Base-T and 10Base2 PC Card. Based upon Ositech's award winning Jack of Diamonds Ethernet+Modem PC Card, the 4 of Diamonds offers out-of-the-box high performance support for MacIntosh and IBM PC systems and supports all popular Operating Systems including Windows 95, Windows NT, OS/2, SCO Unix and UnixWare.

Etherboost™ Enhanced Performance technology by Ositech will increase your
productivity by improving the network response and file transfer times. Preliminary reports suggest that the 4 of Diamonds ODI driver offers significantly improved performance over other solutions. Advanced Power Management and PCMCIA-Aware Operation

To extend the working time of the laptop's battery, the 4 of Diamonds' intelligent
power management can detect and shut off power to the Ethernet portion of the
card. The PC Card aware software can adapt to the least amount of resources
available in terms of card and socket services that require memory.


Pricing

The 4 of Diamonds' suggested retail price is $159 US for Ethernet 10BaseT. An
Ethernet 10BaseT and 10Base2 configuration is available at a price of $199 US.


Optional Accessories

The much enjoyed Deuce (3-Port Hub) accessory that was available for the Jack of Diamonds is will also be available for the 4 of Diamonds. Now customers in the office can split one Ethernet 10BaseT drop to both their notebook and desktop computers without having to re-wire the office or purchase expensive 8-port hubs.

Additionally, an Ethernet 10BaseT and 10Base2 Media Access Module (MAM) can be purchased for $59 US for those customers that purchased the Ethernet 10BaseT only 4 of Diamonds.
