Ositech Signs a Major OEM Agreement in Korea

Ositech Communications Inc., the Canadian leading manufacturer of mobile computing products and home of the Trumpcard series of PC Cards is making a strong stride into 1997 with a multimillion dollar OEM agreement signed with Seyang Information and Communications of Seoul, Korea earlier this week.
The deal is Ositech's biggest OEM deal to date in the Asian market, and comes six months after Seyang Information and Communications first approached Canadian Ositech Communications Inc. with a proposal to market Ositech's PC Cards in Korea's growing mobile computing market. The products to be marketed include Ositech's signature Jack of Diamonds Ethernet + Modem combo card and the most recently released Five of Diamonds, which is the world's first PC Card Modem with all internal
DPI (Digital Phone Interface) Technology.
The 15 Million dollar deal will benefit both companies, positioning the aggressive Seyang Information and Communications as the sole current distributor of Ositech's products in a rapidly expanding market, and allowing Ositech the opportunity to take advantage of a well established sales and distribution network in South Korea,
while simultaneously exposing their product to a new market.

This deal is only the latest in a series of negotiations designed to expand Ositech's position in the international market and reinforce Ositech's growing footprint on the PC Card landscape.
