Ositech Communications Inc. and Psion Dacom plc today announced a strategic alliance agreement to cross license each other's technology and jointly develop multi-function PC Cards incorporating expertise from both companies. "Ositech has more than eight years experience in leading edge Ethernet PC Card technology, and also has an enviable reputation for technical expertise and product quality," said Gareth Hughes, Psion Dacom's Managing Director . "Together with Psion's Global modem, GSM and ISDN technologies, this partnership will produce a new generation of innovative multifunction PC Cards to meet the needs of the mobile executive."

"We have watched Psion Dacom closely for the last few years and have seen the enormous strides it has made in wireless digital communications. We feel that this alliance will provide significant advantages for both parties and that both our product sets and customers will benefit accordingly," stated Tahir Akram, President of Ositech. "By establishing partnerships such as this one, we believe that we will be able to develop products that will continue to advance the standards in the industry."
