Ositech Communications Inc. today announced the availability of a cellular data upgrade kit for the Nokia 5100/6100 series
TDMA/AMPS phones.
This Cellular data upgrade kit is now available for Nokia 5100/6100
seriesTDMA/AMPS phones including, 6120, 6160, 6161, 6162, 5120, and 5160. The kit is designed for use with all of Ositech's V.90/56K modem and multifunction PC Cards: Five of Hearts, Five of Clubs, Jack of Hearts and Jack of Spades. All cellular drivers are embedded into the modem firmware, thus allowing automatic detection and operation with no user intervention required when switching between landline and cellular operation. Installation and configuration software is provided for easy set-up and use while support of MNP 10-EC error correction allows for reliable and hassle-free cellular connections.
The first to offer this wireless data solution, Ositech's cellular upgrade kit will enable the mobile professional to communicate effectively with the office while on the road. Access to email, fax, Internet and office networks is simply a connection away, anywhere, anytime. Due to the increased popularity of Nokia phones, especially the 5120 and 6160 models, this wireless data solution will be a necessity for communication convenience and enhanced productivity.
