Ositech's King of Hearts PC Card makes it onto TECH TV twice within a month

While traveling with your laptop or chasing storms Ositech's CellFlex keeps you connected

Guelph, Ontario, October 8, 2002: Tech TV is available in 34 million households in the United States and is distributed in more than 70 countries. It is the only 24-hour cable television network dedicated to showcasing the impact technology has on our everyday lives and the world at large.

On September 16th, the King of Hearts Trumpcard was featured on Call For Help TV. This particular show  tackles technical difficulties, offers tips and tricks, provides product advice, and serves up suggestions for getting the most out of your computer on a daily basis. Ositech's CellFlex appeared on a live "Traveling With Your Laptop" segment.  Among various laptop travel tips discussed were how to back up data, how to keep your laptop secure and how to increase battery life. When it came to talking about laptop connection on the road, Ositech's King of Hearts PC card had a chance to shine. Dual data capability, easy configuration and use, and affordability are some of the features that make Ositech's solution popular among travels such as RVers, truck drivers, cottage-goers and others who appreciate the flexibility of digital and analog data in one.

On October 7th, 2002 Tim Samaras, a storm chaser with over 15 years experience, was showcased on The Screen Savers, one of the Tech TV shows thatsamaras van targets tech enthusiasts. During his appearance, Tim Samaras, who was originally inspired by "The Wizard of Oz", spoke about his hobby with great enthusiasm. Ositech's King of Hearts PC card is among the hardware that Tim uses to make his storm chasing hobby successful. Ositech's CellFlex allows weather data to be obtained live right in the field. This information guides storm chasers to take the route that allows them to be close enough, but not too close to a tornado. Once again dual data capability ensures that storm chasers can go after tornados not only in metropolitan areas where digital coverage is available, but also in more prevalent analog areas.
