Ositech will be donating its products with the unique CellFlex technology as door prizes for the storm chaser convention.

Guelph, Ontario, January 18, 2003: Ositech is among the sponsors of the 5^th annual Colorado Storm Chaser Convention in Denver from January 31^st to February 2^nd, 2003. This convention promises to be the largest so far with over 200 storm chasers flocking in from all parts of North America.  Ositech’s participation comprises of a donation of the King of Hearts PC Cards as door prizes.

CellFlex is known among storm chasers for its ability to function in the most remote areas where digital cellular coverage is not available. During their quest for storms, chasers use CellFlex to access live weather data right from the field, guiding them to take the most appropriate actions. 

The annual Colorado Storm Chaser Convention is an opportunity for like-minded people to get together in one location to share chase stories, learn about the latest technologies in the field and just party the storm-chaser way. This year’s convention will begin with the Friday Ice-Breaker followed by all-day seminars on Saturday. Later that night, attendees will gather to watch special storm chaser videos that have been filmed during previous seasons. The highlight of Sunday will be a half-day Forecasting Class presented by a veteran from the field, Tim Vasquez. This class will be for those wanting to immerse themselves into the details of forecasting tactics and strategies.
