Plus, exclusive SmartEthernet™ AutoMedia technology automatically recognizes the medium to which the PC Card is connected (10BaseT or 10Base2).
The Four of Diamonds includes configurable power management which automatically powers down your Ethernet card when it is inactive, thereby saving you valuable battery power. This feature also significantly reduces the possibility of internal heat affecting your notebook's performance.
The Four of Diamonds offers a comprehensive range of network drivers not commonly available with other network adapters, including: NetWare client support for DOS, Windows and OS/2; 32bit client support for DOS, Windows, Windows for Workgroups, Windows 95 and Windows NT; packet driver support for DOS and Windows; LLI and MDI support for SCO Unix; DLPI support for SCO UnixWare and Macintosh. Additionally, the Four of Diamonds' advanced installation options let you get up and running with network connectivity in five minutes or less.
The Four of Diamonds fits all Type II and Type III slots. The optional Trumpcard Deuce Ethernet hub provides and easy way to connect both your notebook and desktop PC to your network using one Ethernet drop. The Deuce allows you to set up and impromptu network by connecting up to three notebooks per Deuce.
