In
the spring of 2002, two seasoned storm chasers documented
and filmed a tornado like never before. By
deploying probes in the path of the approaching storm, the
chasers were able to measure the barometric pressure drop,
wind speed and direction, temperature and relative humidity
and even record a video of the storm. Ositech's CellFlex
allowed access to live weather data right in the field, and
guided storm chasers to take the most appropriate route. |
