The latest understanding Ositech has from the information available regarding Verizon CDMA/3G network retirement plans in the United States, indicate that Verizon has delayed their complete CDMA/3G network shutdown scheduled for December 31, 2019 to December 31, 2020.

Verizon has already stopped activating new CDMA/3G devices. After December 31, 2019 like-for-like device replacements and device ID to device ID changes will also be terminated. After this delay period, all services for any device not migrated off the CDMA/3G network will terminate.

It is highly recommended that you transition all your current solutions using CDMA/3G to 4G LTE as soon as possible for continued uninterrupted operation of your applications.
